Time For Everything Under The Heavens:
Celebrating Sukkot
An autumnal festival, Sukkot marks the cyclical nature
of Time and the uncertainties of life. The three central mitzvot
(commandments) of Sukkot are le’shev baSukkah,
the arba minim and simcha (to dwell in the sukkah,
to use the “four species” and to be joyful.) In this
piece, Chana examines how these mitzvot express dependence
on God in the face of life’s unpredictability.
